Refurbishment of residence at Piliyandala

The tight and dark spaces inside the house were opened up to achieve a free flowing space visually connecting the living, TV lobby and dining spaces. A decking area is added to the main entrance to create a semi-outdoor gathering space that connects the home and the garden space. Small windows at the front façade are converted to door-windows to obtain more daylight inside while connecting the living room with the decking area introduced at the main entrance. The interior walls and the floor finishes are done in white colour to further light up the interior.
